Dancong Honey Orchid Oolong Tea [Early Spring Harvest] | 雪春单丛乌龙 蜜兰香

An early Spring harvest of the classic Dancong Honey Orchid Oolong, also known as Mi Lan Xiang (蜜兰香 or directly translated as “Honey Orchid Fragrance”).

Early spring is a time when tea trees are awakening from their winter hibernation, when trees are starting to shred the nutrients stored for the cold season.

The difference in timing during the harvest season affects the strength of heat used during the firing process which yields a more delicate tasting tea as compared to the version harvested later in the season, resulting in a more affordable daily tea as well.

A more delicate fire captures the natural aroma and signature sweet notes characteristic of this type of Oolong tea. Savour refreshing floral and fruity flavours that are reminiscent of lychee in this tea.

Fine quality, whole-leaf and all natural. Handpicked and hand processed in small batches for the freshest brew.

Taste Notes: Smooth and mellow. Lingering sweetness with undertones of honey.
Aroma: Floral
Tea Colour: Bright mellow yellow.
