Dancong Oolong - Snow Ya Shi Xiang (Snow Duck Poop Oolong | 雪鸭屎香)

Snow Ya Shi Xiang (雪鸭屎香) or “Snow Duck Poop Fragrance” is the winter variety of the ya shi xiangDancong Oolong tea. Ya Shi Xiang is specially selected for a winter pick based on its unique flavour and aroma profile.

The winter Ya Shi Xiang variety is stronger in aroma and taste, building upon its inherent sweet floral flavours and the unique milk aroma.

These teas are seasonal and rare due to the limited availability of leaves at this time. Tea farms also need to balance the tree’s yield for the following year, thus would carefully select leaves for picking to avoid over-harvesting.

Picked and prepared by a family farm in the Phoenix Mountain (凤凰山) region, a locale that is famed for its quality Dancong Oolongs. The leaves are meticulously hand-picked and prepared in small batches to ensure the greatest freshness.

Taste Notes: Sweet, floral aftertaste with nutty undertones
Aroma: Unique rich floral milky aroma
Colour: Bright golden yellow
