Dancong Oolong Tea | Ao Fu 凹富
Ao Fu is an exquisite selection of Dancong Oolong from the Phoenix Mountain range in Chao Zhou. This is a unique type of magnolia Oolong where the farm achieved through a cross pollination between the magnolia flower plant and Oolong tea bush.
The namesake means "behind a collapsed cave" in the local dialect, its namesake references where the 'mother tree' was found.
The leaves of this rare tea are carefully oxidized and slightly roasted, which enhances its already-explicit floral aroma and creates a harmonious balance of sweet roast and a vibrant finish.
On the palate, this unique blend reveals a fruit-forward flavour with delightful Magnolia floral undertones. Tannins provide substance and allow the aromas to linger after each sip, culminating in an elegantly layered finale.
