Refired Lao Cong Phoenix Shui Xian (复火老丛凤凰单丛水仙) is a rare and deeply expressive aged Phoenix Dancong Oolong, crafted from old-bush Shui Xian trees and carefully re-roasted (复火) to awaken new depth within the tea. This traditional Chaozhou technique gently revives the leaves after aging, refining their structure while enriching aroma, warmth, and longevity.
Grown in the mineral-rich terroir of Phoenix Mountain (Fenghuang Shan) in Guangdong, this tea carries the quiet intensity that only old bush Dancong can achieve. The refiring softens sharp edges accumulated through age while layering the tea with notes of aged wood, dark honey, dried longan, roasted nuts, incense, and soft medicinal herbs. Beneath its warmth lies the signature floral soul of Shui Xian — now transformed into something darker, deeper, and contemplative.
Its liquor is rich amber-gold with a velvety mouthfeel and lingering huigan (returning sweetness). Each infusion unfolds slowly, revealing evolving layers of mineral warmth, resinous sweetness, and a gentle charcoal finish that lingers in the throat and chest.
